Oxford Academy is a perfect 10-0 against Pioneer since September of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Patriots will challenge the Titans at 4:30 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Pioneer took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-17, 25-23.

Pioneer's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Oxford Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 14-5-1.

Oxford Academy took their victory against Pioneer in their previous matchup back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Patriots since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
