Volleyball Recap: Elkhart Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Elkhart Christian Academy lost against Westview back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Eagles came up short against the Warriors, falling 3-0. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Elkhart Christian Academy was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-23, 25-21.

Ryleigh Viront paced Elkhart Christian Academy's offense, picking up 11 kills. Viront got some help from Kiara Trovatore and her 23 assists.

Elkhart Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 17-13. As for Westview, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-12.

Elkhart Christian Academy has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Bethany Christian on the 10th. As for Westview, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Prairie Heights on the 11th.
