Basketball Game Preview: Keene Blackbirds vs. Dover Green Wave

The Keene Blackbirds will square off against the Dover Green Wave at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Keene's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 13 contests.

Last Tuesday, Keene came up short against Bishop Guertin and fell 73-63. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (60), the Blackbirds still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, Dover lost to Alvirne at home by a 67-49 margin on Tuesday. The Green Wave have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dover's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Keene, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 12-5.

Everything went Keene's way against Dover when the teams last played back in February of 2024, as Keene made off with a 66-44 victory. Does Keene have another victory up their sleeve, or will Dover turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
