Softball Recap: Surry County Cougars vs. Southampton Indians
Surry County dropped their record down to 5-6 on Thursday, which also ended the team's five-game streak of wins at home. They came up short against the Southampton Indians, falling 15-2. Surry County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hailey Livesay, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and two RBI. Livesay is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last six games she's played.
