Basha and Chandler are an even 5-5 against one another since September of 2020, but not for long. The Bears will square off against the Wolves at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Basha saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of Bishop Amat by a score of 2-1.

Meanwhile, Chandler lost 3-0 to Red Mountain on Wednesday. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Red Mountain scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-18, 25-19.

Chandler's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Basha, their loss dropped their record down to 16-9.

Basha couldn't quite get it done against Chandler in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Bears avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
