Tehachapi lost to Wasco back in September of 2022, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Warriors came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 3-1.

If you add up the scores from across all four sets (92-90) Tehachapi actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-22, 15-25, 25-23.

Lilyana Bundt paced Tehachapi's offense, picking up ten kills. Bundt got some help from Lola Napier and her ten assists. Kendall Williams controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Tehachapi's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Wasco, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tehachapi will square off against Frazier Mountain at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wasco, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wonderful College Prep Academy at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wolves will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
