Bradwell Institute was the 2-1 winner over Wayne County when they last played one another last Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Yellow Jackets on Thursday. The Tigers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Bradwell Institute may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 15 points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-15.

Their offense was headlined by Alyssa McKenzie and Sadie Young, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Zaydi Perez and her ten assists. Destiny Judson controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Bradwell Institute's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Wayne County, they pushed their record up to 9-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Bradwell Institute has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Glynn Academy on the 6th. As for Wayne County, they will host Liberty County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
