Volleyball Recap: Edward Little Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Edward Little can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Falmouth Navigators on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Red Eddies have suffered since September 27, 2024.

Edward Little was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-16, 25-14.

Elizabeth Galway paced Edward Little's offense, picking up nine kills. Galway got some help from Maija Bolduc and her 14 assists. Finally, Galway was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high eight blocks.

Edward Little has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-6 record this season. As for Falmouth, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Edward Little nor Falmouth have any future games scheduled.
