Volleyball Recap: Camryn Underhill's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Camden County over Perquimans + How To Watch

Camden County entered their match against Perquimans on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Bruins fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 3-2. While the Bruins didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Pirates 25-18 in the first set.

Camden County started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 18-25, 17-25, 25-18, 25-16, 15-6.

Camden County's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Camryn Underhill, who had nine digs and two aces. Underhill is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Regan Scott, who had five digs and two aces.

Camden County's loss dropped their record down to 18-4. As for Perquimans, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Camden County will challenge rival Manteo at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Perquimans is set to take on their familiar foe Holmes at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
