Preview: Flora Wolves vs. Mt. Carmel Golden Aces
The Flora Wolves's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Mt. Carmel Golden Aces at 10:00 a.m. on December 27th. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around on Wednesday.
Last Wednesday, Flora was beaten by Carlyle 54-19. Flora was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-10.
Meanwhile, Mt. Carmel unfortunately witnessed the end of their ten-game winning streak on Thursday. They were outmatched by Evansville Reitz on the road and fell 71-40. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Mt. Carmel has scored all season.
Flora's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Mt. Carmel, their loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 10-3.
Flora took a serious blow against Mt. Carmel in their previous matchup back in November, falling 61-28. The game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Flora was down 43-11.
