Softball Recap: Watertown Arrows vs. Pierre T.F. Riggs Governors
While Watertown's victory against Pierre T.F. Riggs wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Arrows narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Governors 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Arrows have posted since May 11, 2024.
Alexa Brown spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and three unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.
