Tennyson took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They blew past Arroyo 4-1. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Lancers' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

They hit Arroyo with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Anthony Calderon, Alexis Ortez, Jerson Gomez, and Farid Hernandez.

Meanwhile, Mission San Jose has been on a difficult stretch since their win on December 18. They came up short against Washington on Friday, falling 4-1. The Warriors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 3-0.

Tennyson's victory bumped their record up to 11-7-3. As for Mission San Jose, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-12-1.
