Recap: Somerset Sky Pointe Eagles vs. Durango Trailblazers
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 75-46, which was the final score in Somerset Sky Pointe's's tilt against Durango on Saturday.
Despite the defeat, Somerset Sky Pointe saw an underclassman step up: Emmitt Bell scored 20 points. Bell scored a full 43.5% of Somerset Sky Pointe's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Oblad, who scored 11 points.
Somerset Sky Pointe's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Durango, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
Somerset Sky Pointe's road trip will continue as they head out to face Del Sol at 6:30 p.m. on December 5th. As for Durango, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Mojave at 6:30 p.m. Mojave has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 300 points over their last four matches.
