Recap: Clark Chargers vs. Centennial Bulldogs
The Clark Chargers lost against the Centennial Bulldogs back in February of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Clark had to suffer through a rough 74-30 loss at the hands of Centennial. While losing is never fun, Clark can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nevada basketball rankings (they are ranked 32nd, while Centennial is ranked third).
Several Chargers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ariana Brown, who scored 12 points. Brown is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Neder, who scored four points along with six rebounds.
This is the second loss in a row for Clark and nudges their season record down to 8-5. As for Centennial, they pushed their record up to 6-3 with that win, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clark will take on Palo Verde at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Centennial will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Arbor View at 6:30 p.m. on January 17th.
