Basketball Recap: Peshtigo Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Peshtigo and Freedom squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Peshtigo had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a 70-35 loss at the hands of the Freedom Irish. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 287th, while the Irish are ranked 13th).

Peshtigo's defeat dropped their record down to 11-15. As for Freedom, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 20-1.

Peshtigo does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Freedom has already played their next match (against Northland Pines), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
