North Salinas piles up the points against Greenfield

Recap: North Salinas Vikings vs. Greenfield Bruins
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pioneer, the North Salinas Vikings were happy to have found some success on Friday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 63-34 victory over Greenfield. That result was just more of the same for these two, as North Salinas also won the last time the pair played back in February.
Shane Taylor was the offensive standout of the game as he scored 21 points along with 4 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of North Salinas' points. Jesse Mendez was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 10 steals.
North Salinas' victory bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Greenfield, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
North Salinas' road trip will continue as they head out to face Rancho San Juan at 2:00 p.m. on December 2nd. As for Greenfield, they will square off against Marina at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Marina and Greenfield are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
