Volleyball Recap: Turlock Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Turlock and Davis Sr. squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Turlock had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Blue Devils. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Blue Devils from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

While Turlock had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 21 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-23, 25-23.

Among those leading the charge was Emma Phillips, who had seven digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in August.

This is the second loss in a row for Turlock and nudges their season record down to 22-11. As for Davis Sr., their victory ended a five-match drought at home and bumped them up to 14-18.

Turlock does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Davis Sr., they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Folsom on the 30th.
