Softball Recap: Mattanawcook Lynx vs. Lee Academy Pandas
Mattanawcook put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Lee Academy Pandas 20-2. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lynx also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.
Julianna Cloukey was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. Cloukey was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Addison Cyr, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and three runs. Megan House was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one double.
Mattanawcook was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .643. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .300 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.
