Basketball Recap: Grants Pass Comes Up Short

Grants Pass lost against South Medford back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Grants Pass Cavemen took a hard 61-47 fall against the South Medford Panthers.

Grants Pass' loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-9. As for South Medford, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-9 record.

Grants Pass will head out to face off against Sheldon at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Sheldon knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Grants Pass likes a good challenge. As for South Medford, they will be playing at home against Willamette at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
