Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Johnson County). They blew past the Twiggs County Cobras 42-0 on Friday. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Cobras recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.
Johnson County got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Tayshawn Norris out in front who rushed for 152 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only ten carries. Norris' longest rush was for an impressive 53 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Another rusher making a difference was Jeremiah Scott, who rushed for 80 yards and two TDs.
