Petersburg's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top against the Dinwiddie Generals by a score of 60-48. This was a revenge game for the Crimson Wave: when they faced off against the Generals back in December of 2024, they had to take a 70-66 defeat.

Despite the loss, Dinwiddie still got an impressive performance from Madisyn Hurtt, who posted 26 points. That was a full 54.2% of Dinwiddie's points, marking the third time in a row Hurtt has scored more than a third of the team's points.

Petersburg's victory bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Dinwiddie, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.

Petersburg wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 49-42 win against Colonial Heights on the 13th. As for Dinwiddie, they have also already played their next matchup, a 64-50 victory against Meadowbrook on the 13th.
