Baseball Recap: Forrest County Agricultural Takes a Loss

Forrest County Agricultural lost against Purvis last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Forrest County Agricultural fell just short of Purvis by a score of 4-3. The Aggies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Forrest County Agricultural saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sean Walker, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Those two hits gave Walker a new career-high.

Forrest County Agricultural's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Purvis, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-5.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Forrest County Agricultural will challenge rival Sumrall at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Purvis is set to square off against their familiar foe Columbia at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
