Football Game Preview: Timber Creek Falcons vs. Keller Indians + How To Watch

Timber Creek hasn't had much luck against Keller recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Falcons are taking a road trip to face off against the Indians at 7:00 p.m. Timber Creek has given up an average of 40.3 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Timber Creek is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Trinity last Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Falcons were outmatched by the Trojans and fell 55-17. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 277th, while the Trojans are ranked 37th).

Despite the loss, Timber Creek got top-tier performance from Blaine Everage, who picked up 139 receiving yards and one TD.

Meanwhile, Keller ended up a good deal behind Trinity on Friday and lost 55-37.

Timber Creek will need to focus on slowing down Brock Burkett, one of several Keller players who made an impact when they last played. He threw for 185 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 58 yards. Matt McCroskey was another key player, throwing for 101 yards and a pair of TDs.

Keller's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Timber Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Timber Creek was taken down by Keller 31-0 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Burkett, who rushed for 75 yards and one score on only nine carries, and also threw for 209 yards and one touchdown on only 15 passes.
