Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Manhattan). They enjoyed a cozy 75-59 victory over the Salina Central Mustangs on Tuesday. The win was familiar territory for the Indians, who have now won three matchups in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Salina Central lost, don't look at Greyson Jones. Despite the final result, he shot 57% from the field to rack up 18 points in addition to seven boards and four blocks. Jones is on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last eight games he's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaeden Nienke, who went 6-for-13 on his way to 15 points.

Manhattan's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Salina Central, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Manhattan will take on Dodge City at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Salina Central, they will host South at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
