            The Westminster Christian Warriors will head out to  challenge the Gateway Charter Griffins  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Westminster Christian's defense has only allowed 3.1  points per game  this season, so Gateway Charter's offense will have their work cut out for them.
Westminster Christian will roll into the  contest after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up three  points  on October 3rd, then bounced right back against SmartEn Sports Academy  last Saturday. The Warriors blew past the Goats, posting  a  40-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won seven matchups by 22  points or more  so far this season.
A big part of Westminster Christian's  victory came down to the chemistry between  Gianni Dalessio and his top target  Britton Bayag. Dalessio threw for 219 yards and three  TDs on only 15 passes while  Bayag picked up 167 receiving yards and a pair of  scores. Those  219  passing yards gave  Dalessio a new career-high.

 On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Westminster Christian's defense and their nine sacks.  Daniel Fernandez Jr led the group effort, picking up three of those  sacks all by himself. He is also on a roll when it comes to  total tackles, as he's  now  made five or more in each of the last four games he's  played. Westminster Christian received some extra help from  Fernandez Jr, whose fumble return for a touchdown  made for one of the most unforgettable moments.
Meanwhile,  winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Gateway Charter). They narrowly escaped with a  win as the  squad sidled past Glades Day  29-27. The score was all tied up  14-14 at the break, but the Griffins were the  better team in the second half.
 Westminster Christian better keep an eye on  Tavares Robinson. He was instrumental in Gateway Charter's win, rushing for 92 yards and one  touchdown on only ten carries, while also catching one  TD.  Lenile Deems also helped out with an impressive 90  receiving yards.
 The  victory made it two in a row for Gateway Charter and  bumps their season record up to 3-6. The  wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 27.5 points over those games. As for Westminster Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 7-1.
