Miller won against Hartville on Tuesday with five runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Cardinals beat the Eagles by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 5-1. The victory was familiar territory for the Cardinals, who have now won five matchups in a row.

Miller pushed their record up to 27-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Hartville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-11.
