San Juan won the last time they faced Emery and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Broncos took their game with ease, bagging a 65-14 victory over the Spartans. The result was nothing new for the Broncos, who have now won five matchups by 21 points or more so far this season.

San Juan was led to victory by Jagger Nieves and Beau Yeomans. Nieves gained 279 total yards and three touchdowns, while Yeomans threw for 261 yards and five touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes. Nieves' rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 11th straight game with at least 108 rushing yards dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Tripp Palmer, who picked up 84 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

San Juan was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 289 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 157 rushing yards in 12 consecutive contests dating back to last season.

Another reason for the win was San Juan's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. George McNaughtan was especially locked on to Emery's QB and sacked him twice.

San Juan pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.0 points over those games. As for Emery, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.

San Juan has already played their next game, a 66-21 win against South Sevier on the 17th. As for Emery, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 7-6 victory against Delta on the 17th.
