It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Roxana had no problem doing just that on Monday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Metro-East Lutheran Knights. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 2-0 victory last Wednesday.

The win didn't come easy: Metro-East Lutheran scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-21.

Roxana's offense was headlined by Hope Stewart-Sperry and Leah Newton, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Daisy Daugherty and her 14 assists. Tatum Shaw and Kylee Slayden kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Roxana's victory bumped their record up to 11-24. As for Metro-East Lutheran, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-27 record this season.

As of now, neither Roxana nor Metro-East Lutheran have any future games scheduled.
