Tyler Scott put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in April of 2024 on Monday. He struck out six batters over six innings while giving up four earned runs off six hits (and only one walk). He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.

Scott's strong effort led Westside over Laurens and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
