Football Recap: Hendrickson Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Hendrickson played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 51-10 loss at the hands of the A&M Consolidated Tigers. The matchup marked the Hawks' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

A&M Consolidated found their leader in sophomore Holt Goodwin, who threw for 198 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 72% of his passes, and also punched in one score on the ground. Another player making a difference was Cooper Johnson, who picked up 41 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Hendrickson is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5. As for A&M Consolidated, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.

Hendrickson and A&M Consolidated should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. The Hawks will take on Lehman at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (338 vs. 748). Meanwhile, A&M Consolidated (ranked 53rd) will meet Cedar Creek (ranked 1029th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
