Basketball Recap: Chino Beats Chaffey for Their 11th Straight Win

It's playoff time, and Chino had no trouble coming through when it counted. They strolled past the Chaffey Tigers with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 66-51. The win was nothing new for the Cowboys as they're now sitting on 11 straight.

Shawn Jamison Jr continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double with 23 points and ten rebounds. The contest was his 11th in a row with at least 18 points. Another player making a difference was Dario Shields, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 11 boards.

Chino's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-12. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.4 points over those games. As for Chaffey, their loss dropped their record down to 22-8.

Coming up, Chino will face off against California at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Chino's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 12 matchups. Chaffey does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
