Volleyball Recap: Clover Hill Comes Up Short

Clover Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Cosby Titans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cavaliers of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Clover Hill was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-17, 25-23.

Clover Hill's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Cosby, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Clover Hill will challenge rival Monacan at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Cosby is set to take on their familiar foe Powhatan at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
