Baseball Recap: Freedom Comes Up Short

Freedom was the 8-6 winner over Chantilly when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Freedom took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of Chantilly on Monday.

Freedom's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Chantilly, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Freedom will square off against Unity Reed at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give Freedom their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Chantilly, they will challenge Independence at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
