Basketball Recap: ASU Prep Poly Comes Up Short

ASU Prep Poly was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Eduprize Eagles, falling 89-45. While losing is never fun, ASU Prep Poly can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 204th, while Eduprize is ranked 36th).

Despite the loss, ASU Prep Poly still got an impressive performance from Justin Hudson, who went 8 of 20 on his way to 23 points and five steals. Hudson's evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

ASU Prep Poly's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Eduprize, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

ASU Prep Poly will look to defend their home court on December 17th against Heritage Academy Gateway at 4:30 p.m. Eduprize has already played their next matchup, an 86-55 victory against East Valley Athletes for Christ on the 13th.
