Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mason). They claimed a resounding 42-6 victory over the Eastern Quakers. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Quakers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Mason's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-3. As for Eastern, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mason will host St. Johns at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Redwings' defense has only allowed 14 points per game this season, so the Bulldogs' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Eastern, they will face off against Fowlerville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
