Volleyball Recap: St. Rita Comes Up Short

St. Rita lost against St. Francis back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Mustangs fell 2-0 to the Spartans.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-11.

St. Rita has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-21 record this season. As for St. Francis, their win bumped their record up to 13-20.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. St. Rita will face off against rival Saint Ignatius College Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, St. Francis is set to challenge their familiar foe Brother Rice at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
