There's no place like home for Creekview, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They never let the Newman Smith Trojans get on the board and left with a 13-0 victory on Wednesday. That's more bragging rights for the Mustangs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Kaelani Rogers and London Jenkins did most of the damage at the plate: Rogers went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base, while Jenkins went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most hits Rogers has posted since back in March of 2024. MacKenzie Martin was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.
Creekview always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .519. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Newman Smith only posted an OBP of .250.
Creekview's win bumped their record up to 14-11. As for Newman Smith, they dropped their record down to 0-15 with the defeat, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season.
