Baseball Recap: Rain Takes a Loss

Rain was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 19-3 to the Theodore Bobcats. One positive for the Red Raiders, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Rain's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Theodore, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rain will take on Blount at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Theodore, they will square off against Mary G. Montgomery at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Theodore knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Mary G. Montgomery likes a good challenge.
