Football Game Preview: Bigfork Vikings & Valkyries vs. Ronan Chiefs + How To Watch

Bigfork has gone a perfect 4-0 against Ronan recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Vikings & Valkyries will welcome the Chiefs at 7:00 p.m. Bigfork's defense has only allowed 15 points per game this season, so Ronan's offense will have their work cut out for them.

While Bigfork's victory against Polson wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Vikings & Valkyries had just enough and edged out the Pirates 22-19. The win continues a trend for the Vikings & Valkyries in their matchups with the Pirates: they've now won four in a row.

Treker Hickey was his usual excellent self, rushing for 266 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 9.5 yards per carry. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 106.8 rushing yards per game.

Hickey was just one part of a punishing run game: Bigfork was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 312 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Meanwhile, Ronan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 35-0 loss at the hands of Libby.

Bigfork's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Ronan, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.
