Acadiana Home School Athletics came tearing into Friday's contest with seven straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Christian Academy of Louisiana Crusaders 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Acadiana Home School Athletics was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-14, 25-8.

Acadiana Home School Athletics got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Julia West out in front who had nine kills, nine aces, and five digs. West has been hot for a while, having posted five or more kills the last 16 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Emily Mader, who had eight aces, six kills, and three digs.

They weren't the only good servers: Acadiana Home School Athletics was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 34 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 12 aces in seven consecutive matches.

Acadiana Home School Athletics' win bumped their record up to 17-5. As for Christian Academy of Louisiana, their loss dropped their record down to 0-10.
