Basketball Recap: Braylon Pete Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Furr

Washington won the last time they faced Furr and things went their way on Friday too. The Eagles enjoyed a cozy 84-66 win over the Brahmans. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Washington's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Braylon Pete, who dropped a double-double with 31 points and ten rebounds. Those 31 points gave Pete a new career-high. Kadyn Barnes was another key player, dropping a double-double with 18 points and 13 boards.

Washington's record now sits at 2-0. As for Furr, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Washington will challenge Shoemaker at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Furr, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Worthing at 7:00 p.m. on December 2.
