Softball Recap: MacArthur Find Success

MacArthur picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Legacy Ranch Wranglers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Brahmas.

Emma Rodriguez and Sienna Richmond did most of the damage at the plate: Rodriguez went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double, while Richmond went 1-for-4 with one home run. Lynnea Guerra was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

MacArthur hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They are 2-1 when they post two or more strikeouts.

MacArthur's win bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Legacy Ranch, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. MacArthur will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Southwest Legacy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Legacy Ranch, they will welcome Lago Vista at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give the Wranglers their first taste of in-conference action this season.
