Desert Hills had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the four-goal drubbing they dealt Hurricane on Friday. The Thunder put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 5-1 victory. Izzy Miller was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

The win was the fourth in a row for Desert Hills, bringing their record up to 8-2. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those four games. As for Hurricane, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season.
