Basketball Game Preview: Okay Mustangs vs. Pawhuska Huskies

The Okay Mustangs will head out on the road to square off against the Pawhuska Huskies at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Last Monday, Okay was fully in charge, breezing past Arkoma 62-21. Okay has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 27 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Pawhuska put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They really took it to Tulsa CHEF for the full four quarters, racking up a 61-24 win. The Huskies pushed the score to 52-14 by the end of the third, a deficit Tulsa CHEF cut but never quite recovered from.

Okay better focus on containing Brooklyn Miles and Hannah Reynolds as the pair were huge in Pawhuska's win. Miles dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten boards, while Reynolds almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine rebounds. The game was Reynolds' fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Pari Harper, who posted ten points and three steals.

Okay's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Pawhuska, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with the win, which was their third straight at home.
