Lamar is 8-1-1 against Trinidad since March of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Thunder are taking a road trip to challenge the Miners at 5:00 p.m. Trinidad took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Lamar, who comes in off a win.

Lamar is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They put the hurt on Banning Lewis Academy with a sharp 7-1 win on Saturday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Meanwhile, Trinidad came up short against Fountain Valley on Thursday, falling 11-1. Trinidad have struggled against Fountain Valley recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Trinidad's goal came courtesy of Kassidy Houston, which was the first she's scored this season.

Lamar now has a winning record of 3-2-2. As for Trinidad, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Lamar took their win against Trinidad in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 9-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Thunder since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
