Riverwood's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Chamblee Bulldogs. This was a revenge game for the Raiders: when they faced off against the Bulldogs back in August, they had to take a 2-1 defeat.

The match came down to the wire multiple times:two sets needed extra rallies to declare a winner. The final score came out to 26-24, 28-26.

Riverwood's offense was headlined by Kendall Saunders and Ava Brodie, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Syler Lewis and her ten assists.

Riverwood is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-15 record this season. As for Chamblee, they moved to 17-17 with that loss, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

Riverwood has already played their next match, a 0-0 win against Duluth on the 2nd. As for Chamblee, they will face off against Stone Mountain at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
