Volleyball Game Preview: Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes vs. Moriarty Pintos + How To Watch

The Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes are taking a road trip to challenge the Moriarty Pintos at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pojoaque Valley has now lost nine straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since September 20.

Pojoaque Valley lost 3-0 to Taos on Thursday.

While Pojoaque Valley was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-21, 25-18.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Moriarty and Taos had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Pintos came up short against the Tigers on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-9, 25-4.

Pojoaque Valley will have to contain Kristina Means as she made an impact in Moriarty's last game. She had ten digs. Means is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Pojoaque Valley's loss dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Moriarty, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-13.

Pojoaque Valley might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Moriarty when the teams last played on October 9th. Can the Elks/Elkettes avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
