Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fairfield). Everything went their way against the LaVille Lancers on Saturday as they made off with a 22-2 win. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by ten runs or more this season.

Fairfield is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. As for LaVille, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Fairfield wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 7-6 win against Garrett on the 29th. As for LaVille, they have also already played their next match, a 14-4 loss against Triton on the 28th.
