Lander Valley faced Evanston in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Tigers took their match with ease, bagging a 50-18 win over the Devils. Fans of the Tigers have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Lander Valley found their leader in sophomore Tjacks Tjacks, who threw for 163 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 passes.

Lander Valley didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Barrett Moffat and Parker Burton.

The victory (which was Lander Valley's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 42.3 points this season. As for Evanston, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Lander Valley and Evanston will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Tigers will face off against rival Torrington at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Evanston is set to square off against their familiar foe Green River at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
