Soccer Recap: Christ Presbyterian Academy Comes Up Short

Christ Presbyterian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Independence Academy. Christ Presbyterian Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Independence Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Christ Presbyterian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Independence Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Christ Presbyterian Academy will venture away from home to challenge Montgomery Bell Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Montgomery Bell Academy will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Christ Presbyterian Academy surely won't give up without a fight. As for Independence Academy, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Independence Academy challenge LEAD Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. They will be up against LEAD Academy's rather soft defense (which has allowed four goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
